The Wales Ireland Network for Social Entrepreneurship (WINSENT) is looking for information on training needs in the sector. Here's what they have to say:
"WINSENT is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Wales Ireland Programme (INTERREG 4A). It is currently the only project in Ireland to specifically support the environment for the promotion of social entrepreneurship, the creation of new social enterprises and the sustainable development of existing social enterprises. To achieve these and other objectives WINSENT will also run workshops for social entrepreneurs and social enterprises in Ireland and North Wales. WINSENT provides free assistance, support and guidance to any social entrepreneur in Dublin, Kildare, or Meath in Ireland and Denbighshire and the Isle of Anglesey in Wales. However, our networking and training events can be accessed by any social entrepreneur or social enterprise located anywhere in Ireland or North Wales.
In order to more accurately direct our training in the future, we are carrying out a piece of research to uncover the needs of social entrepreneurs in Ireland and North Wales. Please find attached a short survey, which should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete. Please only fill out this survey if you are a social entrepreneur or if you have established or are planning on establishing a social enterprise in the near future.”
