Regional Managers

I work with community groups as they move from early ideas to fully realised projects, supporting them along the way. What I enjoy most is seeing volunteers working willingly together for the betterment of their community – often taking something that might start as a conversation and turning it into a clear, achievable plan. I’m particularly interested in how the ambition of the group can grow over time, as they grow in confidence and begin to see the wider potential of what they can achieve. Projects can sometimes bring their own challenges, but also a sense of real unity and purpose, and it’s very rewarding to play a small part in that journey.
“Use all of the supports that are available to you, and keep moving forward. You don’t need to have all the answers at the beginning - you just need to take the first step and build from there.”

Every day I am focussed on helping communities shape their ideas and bring them to life. With a background in banking and relationship management, I like to keep things clear and manageable - breaking projects into simple steps so it’s easier to see what’s possible and how to get there. I enjoy working through ideas with people, having those back-and-forth conversations to figure out what will actually work in real life, not just on paper. For me, it’s about building something solid that lasts and genuinely makes a difference for the community behind it.
“Don’t be afraid to aim high. Awell-thought-out plan will take you much further than you think.”

Working closely with community organisations and social enterprises I am committed to supporting them helping them access the finance they need to grow and deliver impact. With a background in business and community development I provide support from initial enquiry through all stages of the loan process. I believe that community organisations are best placed to understand and respond to the needs of their communities. My role is to help unlock the funding that enables them to implement actions to address those needs. I am passionate about supporting projects that create lasting improvements and address social challenges at a local level.
"Early stage community consultationand stakeholder engagement provide the foundation for effective projectdelivery"

Community groups often come to me at acrossroads - waiting on a grant, facing a funding shortfall, or simplyexploring their options - and my role is to find the social finance solutionthat fits, whether that's a bridging loan or a term loan. I'm involved in myown local community and have seen first-hand what the development of a facilitycan mean for an area or a club, which is what drew me to Clann Credo's ethos inthe first place. With a banking background and eight years now with ClannCredo, I take a tailored approach rather than a 'one size fits all' one, fitting applications and repayments around what each group actually needs. Itry to build a full picture of each organisation - the social benefit itbrings, and the repayment capacity to lend responsibly - and I stay involvedlong after approval, on hand for queries, advice, or connecting groups withothers who've faced similar challenges. I'm proud to see the facilities thatcommunities I've worked with have gone on to build.
"There's always someone available at the other end of the phone. No question is too small, and no project too ambitious."

What I value most is the energy and commitment of volunteers - people who step forward when they see a need and follow through to make something happen. My role is to provide a steady, practical guide along the way, helping groups navigate the process with confidence. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing an idea take shape and become something that genuinely benefits a local community.
“Start with what you have and who you have. You’d be surprised how much can be achieved when people pull together around ashared goal.”

I am passionate about supporting community groups and organisation, supporting them as they turn ideas into projects that make a real difference locally. What I enjoy most is getting to know the people behind each initiative - understanding what drives them and what they’re trying to achieve for their community. No two projects are ever the same, so I take a flexible, practical approach, helping groups find a path that works for them.I’m always struck by the sense of pride that comes when a project is up and running, especially knowing the effort and collaboration it took to get there.
“Keep it grounded in your community. Ifpeople feel part of it from the start, they’ll stand behind it and help carryit forward.”
