Clann Credo, Ireland's leading provider of Community Loan Finance is teaming up with Galway County Public Participation Network to co-host a series of free seminars in the Galway region throughout the month of June entitled 'Financing Community Growth-Loans, Grants and Fundraising'.
These seminars are designed to help community and voluntary groups, charities, social enterprises and amateur sports clubs who could aims to transform their community and who could benefit from Clann Credo Community Loan Finance. There will also be important information for these groups about grants and supports available and advice about best ways of fundraising.
Galway County Public Participation Network strengthens the relationship with and between community groups and assists in communications with the local authority.
Many community leaders have big dreams of what their organisation could do, but finance is often an obstacle. Clann Credo offers affordable interest rates with long term repayment schedules and does not ask for personal guarantees and they have loaned almost €82m to over 800 projects nationwide. With Community Loan Finance Clann Credo helps organisations make their vision a reality.
Attendees will get the opportunity to hear from a variety of specialists in the area of community loans, grants and they will learn valuable strategies for fundraising for their community group.
Tracey Hannon Social Finance Officer for Clann Credo in the West Region, who will discuss Community Loan Finance and how it can assist communities applying for Grants that require Bridging loans and Matching Funding.
The Galway County Public Participation Network (PPN) will be at each of the seminars to explain the role of the PPN and talk about the supports available.
There will be four free seminars held throughout the month of June.
- The first seminar will be held on the 1st of June at An Crompán, Carroroe, Connemara from 7.30-9.30pm. To register click here
