Clann Credo held a 'Learn, Inspire, Share' Workshop in Dublin on Strategic and Business Planning in Dublin on 11th May. This was part of our workshop series designed to help you help your communities with training, support and networking.
For over 20 years Clann Credo has been committed to supporting community-based volunteers in Ireland. It provides Community Loan Finance to help maximise the potential of projects.
The needs of these voluntary groups are unique and as well as supporting them financially, Clann Credo is offering volunteers and community leaders around the country training and support through the ‘Learn, Inspire, Share’ training series.
The workshops are designed to help the volunteers and staff who work on the projects that Clann Credo supports with Community Loan Finance.
The theme of the Sligo workshop was ‘Strategic and Business Planning ’ and included: Benefits of business and strategic planning; potential risks if you don't; Vision, Mission, Value; Setting strategic goals and objectives. The event took place at the Carmichael Training Centre on the evening of 11th May.
The workshop were facilitated by Andrea Shumpinski, an experienced accountant and business advisor with experience in the not-for-profit sector. The event was attended by groups including: Specialistern Ireland; Dublin City Farm Group; Irish BioEnergy Association; Moytura Project amongst others.
