The potential of social enterprises is still far from being fully harnessed in Ireland. Common Cents 2009 provided a valuable platform for discussing the opportunities and supports as well as the challenges and obstacles faced by social enterprises in a changing economy.
An excellent panel of speakers and chairs was drawn from the Department of Finance, Local Partnerships, University, Philanthropic organisations and most importantly, those who are leading community & social enterprises in these difficult times.
A number of Clann Credo supported groups hosted stands, giving delegates the opportunity to discuss and share ideas at first hand.
